A funeral mass will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, March 29th, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California, for Robert Petersen. He is survived by his wife, Margie. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Petersen Automobile Museum or the charity of the person's choice in his honor. Cards may be mailed to Margie Petersen, 6420 Wilshire Boulevard, 20th floor, Los Angeles, California 90048.

Tri-State Regional and Avi Regional cookoffs - Voluntary People's Choice

At the Avi back-to-back regionals this Easter weekend (April 7-8), there will be a voluntary People's Choice, with 50% of the money going to charity and 50% going to the first place People's Choice chili cook. You are not required to participate. The votes will be counted by the Lake Havasu chiliheads, who will also be coming to Judge. Uncollected red and green chili left on the tables at the end of the first day will be zip-locked and stored, and will be available for any cooks to use on the second day to augment their People's Choice.
