Bloomington Indiana District
Sept 29th. –
One of the last chances in the mid west to qualify for the 2007 WCCC. Still looking for a qualification to the Last Chance? How about that coveted slot in the championships for verde & salsa? The red chili is a go, BUT this new district still needs entries for verde and salsa. Please let Rebecca at Cedar Ridge Campgrounds know if you are planning on attending. They have a great day and a great event planned, they just need our participation to make it all work. Rebecca can be reached at 1-800-641-9308 or you can register thru the ICS web site. Julie & I will be there and assisting with the event as much as we can within the rules, as I am still trying for a verde slot, while Julie still needs salsa to complete our hat tricks. So not only does Rebecca and the staff at Cedar Ridge need your help, so do the cooks that have already entered.
.
Thanks
Jeff & Julie Netser

Subject: Chili recipe
At one time I had the chili recipe used by the Yuma Territorial Prison for feeding prisoners. It was a very basic chili. I have lost the recipe, been looking for it for quite awhile but can not find it.
You would not happen to have this late 1800's chili recipe would you?
Thanks
.
John
