Silver Springs, Nevada results 5/20/06 - Dione Cooley
Results of the Silver Springs Nevada chili cookoff at Lyon County Airport. The day was warm, slight breeze and featured antique aircraft and air show honoring women in aviation. Fritz Rubins, chairman, had commitment on the east coast so the judging/scorekeeping duties were well handled by Herb and Geneva Holman. Job well done.

Ray Little - Bill and Karen Ray
We have been in touch with Mary Lou Little, Ray's wife. She says that he has not opened his eyes the last few days and that, today, he is not eating or drinking. He is on oxygen and a hospice caretaker is on the premises. He had a blood test last week; the only result that she was told is that his glucose is high, which it has been all along. He had an MRI last Tuesday, but she has been unable to get the doctor to call her back with the results. All in all it does not sound good. We will keep you updated as we are updated.
