The Cypress cookoff date is fast approaching and Chris Sherrin tells me he has only heard from one cook so far. This cookoff has been around for a very long time and I would hate to see it go down the drain. So, if you only need one district to qualify for the World or if you want to qualify for the last chance cookoff and save yourself a $100.00 come on out and cook, you will be on grass and able to park behind your booth. If you can cook please contact Chris Sherrin, Chairman at chris@sherringlassandmetal.com and let him know that you will be there, or you can email me at chiliahr@veawb.coop . This is a really big community event and everyone in the community comes out for it, they have local businesses there and many many craft booths and vendors. I would love to see a good turnout of cooks at this one. Norm is Chief Judge and I am Chief Scorekeeper and we would like to see all our friends out there cooking. (the ones that aren't qualified, lol) Hope to see you there. The cookoff is located at Oak Knoll Park, 5700 Orange Ave, Cypress, CA
