Delaware Valley Regional Chili Cookoff

There are only five days until we host the DVRCC. Weather is forecast to be in the low 60's and sunny. If anyone is still interested in cooking, you can go online at www.delvalchilicookoff.com and fill out the entry form. We have even gone hi tech and added a link to pay by credit card…wow…I would have never thought this could happen when I started cooking in the early 80's!!!

CENTRAL OHIO CHILI FESTIVAL

Beulah Park Race Track

Well the weather wasn't so nice as it was rainy and cold all day but the cooks didn't care because they were inside with a full view of the track. The ponies didn't seem to care either because there was a full schedule of racing held along with simulcasts from other tracks. From some of the yelling I heard I think some of the cooks made a little extra money also. The People's Choice Chili was ready at noon and that started off a good day for chili. The Central Ohio Epilepsy Foundation was the charity that benefited from the cookoff.
