Ray Little - Bill and Karen Ray

Sadly, Ray Little passed away at about 10:30 last night. He had been shutting down for the last several days and was suffering. We received a phone call from Mary Lou at 6:30 this morning. She will let us know the arrangements as soon as they have been made. We will pass the word along.

Whittier District Cookoff - July 21 results - Allene Macklin

Whittier Historical Society and Museum district cookoff - May 21

For a first-time cookoff, it went very well and the public who showed up seemed to really enjoy the chili tasting. It was a nice day, a little overcast, but the rain stayed away! Thanks to Mary Nicoll for bringing extra salsa to make the required 7 entries! Mike and Bonnie Ford drove straight from Pahrump to help judge - what troopers!
