(That's right literally just weeks away.)

After 4 years of putting up with my hijinks and pitifully low-budget
operation,
we're going to have a real honest-to-goodness highfalutin chili
extravaganza.
.
REAL PRIZE MONEY!
REAL TROPHIES!
REAL HEALTH INSPECTORS!
.
No more checks for $1.37
No more goofy trophies
No more fake health inspectors (That's a good thing?)
.
We still have to work out some of the details, but it's a done deal
The ICS has the sanction money and all is right with the world.
.
The cookoff location is a few miles east of Odgen, Utah in the
beautiful Wasatch Mountains.
.
I will be meeting the Wolf Creek folks the next day or two and will
continue to bombard you with new information.
.

Cookers : THE TIME SCHEDULE FOR COOKING HAS CHANGED,

IT IS POSTED BELOW.

If possible, please contact me directly if you plan on cooking at 760 801-0420.

SCHEDULE FOR CHILI COOKOFF ONLY

7-9:00 AM ARRIVAL TIME, please use the entrance called Solana Gate which is on

Via De La Valle west of Jimmy Durante Blvd. Going down this entrance at the check in

gate, you will give security your name and tell them you are a Chili Cooker. You will

be going over a bridge to the infield site and will be directed by someone once you

cross the bridge.

9:00 AM CHILI VERDE COOKS MEETING

9:30 AM CHILI VERDE COOKS START YOUR FIRES

9:45 AM RED CHILI COOK’S MEETING

11:00 AM SALSA JUDGES MEETING

11:00 AM RED CHILI COOKS STARTS YOUR FIRES

11:30 AM SALSA TURN IN AND JUDGING

11:30 AM PEOPLES CHOICE, READY TO GIVE AWAY

12:00 PM CHILI VERDE JUDGES MEETING

12:30 PM CHILI VERDE COOKS TURN IN CHILI/JUDGING

1:30 PM RED CHILI JUDGES MEETING

2:00 PM PEOPLE’S CHOICE, BALLOT TURN IN

2:00 PM RED CHILI COOKS TURN IN CHILI/JUDGING

3:00 PM ANNOUNCE CHILI COOKOFF WINNERS
