1. Currently I am keeping track of all those that have achieved "HAT TRICK" status. Currently I have 33 "HAT TRICK" winners. I hope that I have not missed anyone. As you all know, these people will be given an award at the ICS WORLDS Championships. If you know of anyone that has achieved this status and I don't have them listed yet, please let me know. Send an email to GWTWChili@aol.com with the persons name and the contests that they have won ICS RED, CHILI VERDE and SALSA. 2. If you were a Contest winner at either a STATE or REGIONAL and "Do Not" plan to cook in Omaha, please let Vickie know ASAP Vickie@chilicookoff.com so she can notify the second place contestant and have that person compete in Omaha. This also goes for all District Winners of "CHILI VERDE and SALSA".

3. For those that are already qualified please COMPLETE and SEND your ICS WORLDS Championships FORMS to Vickie at the ICS Office.

4. Remember that ICS is having a 40th Anniversary Celebration Party on Friday evening immediately following the Last Chance announcements at Lewis and Clark Landing. We will be honoring Leah & Fred Wieland for their many years of dedication to the International Chili Society. FREE BEER, FREE FOOD, Cash Bar for Mixed Drinks. DANCING to the Doo Wah Riders.

Status report on Jack Ware - Wes & Ginny Carlson

We just talked to Ken Ware, Jack's son. Ken said Jack came through the surgery with flying colors. In fact, a little before they talked, Ken told Ginny that Jack was setting up in a chair and talking about going to Omaha to cook chili. He is ready to go.
