Silverado Days Chili Cookoff” on Sunday, October 22, 2006

The Buena Park Chamber of Commerce invites you to our annual “Silverado Days Chili Cookoff” on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at William Peak Park, 7225 El Dorado Drive, Buena Park, CA, 90620. Silverado Days, administered by the Buena Park Noon Lions Club, is celebrating its 50^th anniversary and the theme is “Half Century Hoe-Down”. Free admission to the 3-day event which features a carnival, game booths, food court and live entertainment. www.silveradodays.com or www.buenaparkchamber.org

Entry fee:

$35 (red) for ICS members + 1 gallon People’s Choice

$30 (Verde) for ICS members + 1 gallon People’s Choice

$15 (salsa) for ICS members + 1 quart for turn-in

Embroidered Aprons for 1^st , 2^nd , 3^rd place winners along with some cash prizes.

First 10 entries can park near booth. Others can unload and load by booth.

It’s important to send in paperwork and driver’s license copy to the Chamber of Commerce (6601 Beach Blvd., Buena Park, CA 90621) at least a week before the event so that the Health Department will issue a “go ahead with event” order and not show up at the event and create a hassle!
