Desert Rat Regional Chili Cookoff

CHILI COOKS, Phil (better known as dirty ole Phil) has commissioned me to find out if you will be in attendance at his whatever annual Chili Cookoff in Beautiful and Picturesque California City on Saturday, March 22. If you would be so kind as to let me know your intentions and if you plan to bring a RV to stay in our all-pro modern RV park which features dry camping. Also featuring campfires (if you bring your own fire ring and firewood). You will be camping on lots of clean dirt, be serenaded by coyotes at night and the occasional BS artist. If you are just coming for the day's festivities you can cook right out of the back of your vehicle. There also is a stew challenge on Friday afternoon March 21, if you are interested please contact dirty ole Phil at Phil.Morosky@Verizon.net

.

This is a regional chili cookoff so the winners will advance to the WORLD, Red Chili, Green Chili and Salsa. There will also be a Bragging Rights Only Salsa Contest the winner of that contest will receive a silver coin valued at about $60. This is being donated by one of the beer drinkers. If you're not a cook or don't want to but would like some free beer and chili and salsa we need Judges. Dazzling Donnie Gordon is Chief Scorekeeper she can always use a little help too.

considering add the event to your cookoff

will host a Cook's Party the night before and every cook will be able to
