ICS Chillinois and Central State Regional

Winners in the ICS Chillinois and Central State Regional Chili Cookoff have been announced. The two day back to back event held October 18^th & 19^th, 2008 during the 23^rd Annual Taylorville Chillifest sponsored by the Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce brought in cooks from 8 different states including present World and 2 time Champion Georgia Weller, her husband and former World Champ, Jim Weller, 2 time former Chile Verde Champ Jerry Simmons and former Chile Verde Champion Jeff Netser.

Chief Judge and former World Salsa Champ was Tom Calvert.

Scorekeeper was Amy Calvert Winans.

Saturday Competition had 33 Red Chili cooks, 9 Verde cooks (1^st time for this event), and 14 Salsas. Saturday results are as follows:
