Inland Empire Regional Chili Cookoff

Thanks to the cooks who have sent their entries online or told us in person that they'll be cooking. Nothing has changed for this event from the previous years. As always, the Health Department folks will make their presence known. They have been out in force at every cookoff we have attended in Southern California this year. They will expect to see handwashing stations. They have requested that you bring extra utensils for serving your chili to the public. If they require screen sides (and they probably will) the Arlington Business Partnership will furnish them to you for the day. Please remember to tell the Health Department people that you are serving canned chili, or that it was prepared offsite in a commercial kitchen (you have a friend who has a restaurant, you used the kitchen at your church or Elks Lodge, etc.).

.

This year there are at least ten Community Cooks/Celebrity Cooks/Restaurant Cooks. Please do not begin serving your People's Choice Chili until 11:00. As always, there is a prize of $250.00 for the winning ICS People's Choice contestant.

.

We look forward to seeing you at our 7th Annual Inland Empire Regional Cookoff on Saturday.
