Oregon State Chili Cookoff

It was a perfect day in Bonanza, Oregon. The weather was great, the crowds plentiful and the cooks as wonderful as always. We had 19 Red cooks, 11 Chili Verde cooks and 10 Salsa entries!!! Thank you for all you have helped make this a great success - Fritz Rubins for being our Chief Judge and the best there is! Also to the Beaver family who has a entry in this cook off since 2005!!

The Texas back to back chili cookoff's are fast approaching. September 5th and 6th will see the San Antonio Regional ,a NEW ICS Chili Cookoff as well as the prestigious Texas State at a different location this year!

This is a unique opportunity for YOU to cook in Texas and you'll have SIX chances to qualify for the 2009 WCCC!!!!

ICS INFO – From Vickie

There have been numerous requests for some information about the requirements for People's Choice Chili at the WCCC. We cannot give you information that we do not have. Carol is presently in Charleston and has been for a few days now trying to get all the details together so she can pass complete information on to the cooks on her return.
