There is still time to sign up online or call in, to be able to cook in Winter Park, Colorado this weekend. We have quite a roster of cooks already signed up, and even more experienced judges lined up to judge. SIX chances for the World's are up for grabs.

Saturday, besides traditional red, chili verde, and salsa, there will once again be a "Guac-off" Guacamole division. A trophy will be given to the first place winner.

.

The cookoffs are at the base of the Winter Park Ski Resort, and it's one of the most awesome spots to cook at in the country (at 9000 ft). Rooms are still available in Winter Park, with a 20% chilihead discount given when you call Winter Park Central Reservations @1-800-977-6198. Cash and trophies will be awarded to 1st through 3rd places in each division, each day.

CHILI COOKOFF AND CLASSIC CAR SHOW

Don't forget, the Huntington Beach Elks Lodge cookoff is this Saturday, August 22 and is one of the last Calif. regionals to qualify for the Worlds in Charleston, WV!

There will be a large classic car show which should draw quite a few chili tasters! If you have already qualified, please come help and enjoy the day.
