Cypress District, July 22, 2006

Well, it looks like all our chilihead friends have come through for us once again. I just heard from Chris Sherrin, Chairman of the Cypress Chili Cookoff, and he says that it looks like we will be doing all three contests this year. It is still not too late to sign up for the cookoff, we will also take walk-ins. So come on out and join us, and thanks to all those that have signed up so far.

Bonanza, OR Cook-Off District - July 29, 2006

Looks like another good time at the Bonanza Cook-Off. For those of you that will be coming in on Friday we have some things set up for your enjoyment. At about 4 PM we will have a country tour with stops at the local winery and the Rock Bottom Ranch. After that we have a great Cooks BBQ which should be ready to go about 7 PM. It is furnished by the Chairperson and her family but you are welcome to bring whatever you would like. All we ask is you bring your own cooler of drinks. Saturday is the cook off and sure hoping to get a great response. Still have $2000 in prize money for the day and in a nice grass spot this time off of the hot asphalt.
