OREGON STATE July 28, 2007
.
Oregon State has moved. For the third year the Bonanza Volunteer Fire Department is hosing an ICS Chili Cook-Off, only this year we have managed to secure the Oregon State. The format will pretty much stay the same only it will qualify the winners for the Worlds Cook-Off. It is being held on July 28th in Bonanza, Oregon.
Again this year we will be having the Friday night Cooks Dinner. If you attend please bring your favorite side dish and your beverages. We will provide the main course and the place settings. It is a real good time and a great way to meet the cooks.
Also on Friday we will have a tour of our locate winery, The 12 Wine Ranch and also the Rock Bottom Ranch. Both are very neat and great to see. Those times will be announced once we get closer.
Saturday is the cook-off, of course but afterwards for those that are staying that night as well, we again will have a potluck meal for everyone to visit and whined down from the day before everyone heads out for home.
Sunday morning there will be a breakfast buffet at the Longhorn Restaurant for those of you who are interested before they have to make the trip home.
The Bonanza RV Park is 541-545-1008. We will have also places, like the Fire Hall where we can park you as well. No water or sewer but will have power. We are looking forward to another fun time.
For more information please contact Glennise Tyree, Chairperson at 541-892-8363 or email at g7yree@cs.com.
