"Power To The Pepper" is this years theme for the National Kidney Foundation's 32^nd Annual Chili Cook-off and Salsa Competition at Westport Plaza, in Maryland Heights(St. Louis) Missouri. Great Food and Great Music will highlight a fabulous Saturday. Registration is open thru September 21, 2007, however you may register, for an additonal fee, all the way up until Saturday, the 29^th.

We will again sponsor a PRE-EVENT COOK'S RECEPTION on September 10, 2007 at 6:00 pm at the Ameritar Casino in St. Charles, Mo. All cooks participating in the Cook-Off are urged to attend. BRING A GUEST!!! You'll meet other cooks and members of the Chili Cook-Off Committee, and we'll answer any questions you may have.

Down East Regional & Maine State

This weekend is the time to be in Wells Harbor, Maine for back-to-back
world-qualifying events. With a Regional contest on Saturday and a
State contest on Sunday, six people will advance to the WCCC in Omaha.
