SILVER STATE REGIONAL

To all our Chilihead Friends:

We really need to know who, if anyone, is coming to Pahrump to cook in the Silver State Regional on May 17th.

As of this date we only have 1 Salsa, 3 Green and 3 Red, that does not bode well for helping us keep our Regional. PLEASE, PLEASE let us know if you are coming to Pahrump to cook, or if you would rather go elsewhere, that is okay too, just let us know so we can make plans.

Mark your calendars for 3 Regionals in Cripple Creek, Colorado in one weekend.

That's THREE days of qualifiers for you novices.

Fri. June 20 - Hot Time Regional - Red only (late turn in)

Sat. June 21 - Chili Ole' Regional - All 3 categories

Sun. June 22 - Mile High "Bill Miller Memorial" Regional - All 3 categories

Prize money is FANTASTIC:

Red each day - $1200,$300, $100, $50, $50

Verde Sat. & Sun. - $800, $300, $100, $50, $50

Salsa Sat. & Sun. - $300, $100

Best Booth each day - $100

.

Plus goody bags including gaming tokens for casinos for pre-registered cooks,

and a Friday night Cooks party.

This promises to be a fun filled weekend. Many Colorado cooks have registered

on line already. I challenge you out-of-staters to consider coming back to Colorado

this year.

Please register on line ASAP, so we can get head counts for gaming tokens, the party,

and the number of judges we will need.
