We are "Back 2 Back" with the Del Mar Regional Cookoff this year..
.the Studio Diner Chili Cookoff is Sunday August 3rd here in beautiful San Diego!
.
This year's ICS Sanctioned event is our 2nd year and our goal besides tasting great Chili& drinking beer is to raise money for the "Injured Marine Fund" at Balboa Naval Hospital.
.
This was the "2nd fund" created immediately after the Iraq War started exclusively to fly parent's, wives, immediate family members to San Diego to meet their seriously wounded Marines upon evacuation from Afghanistan & Iraq.
.
Over 20 outstanding Cook's competed last year to make our first year a success and qualify us for REGIONAL status!!
.
The familes of these young Marines greatly appreciate our help as many of them can not afford to fly here at their own expense when they receive that unwanted tragic phone call, "Your Marine has been severely wounded and is being Medivaced to San Diego in 48-72 hours."
.

We'd love to have you join us for a fun-filled, great time in conjunction with our annual Potato Festival! Join us the evening before for a barbecue in your honor! The prize money may not be the most you can earn but the hospitality will top it all! Entry fees: Red $35, Verde 25, and Salsa 15.

Red Chili: $500, 250 and 100

Verde: $300, 150, and 75

Salsa: $100, 50, and 25
