Update on Gumby

Do you know what you were doing one year ago on this day December 13th? We do.

You were calling and visiting us in the Bone Marrow Unit at Jewish Hospital. You were sending hundreds of cards filled with love, hope and support.You were cooking and delivering food to nourish me and you were dawning surgical masks to visit with and show your dear brotherly friendship to Bill.You were donating blood and platelets and on your knees you were saying prayers for God to give Bill a miracle. We believe in miracles.We are now in our eighteenth week of remission. We are back to the "new normal" as we call it, taking one precious moment at a time. Don't forget... if you "Got Platelets" please share them!
