CALIFORNIA STATE

To all the Chili and Menudo cooks that are going to compete this Saturday at the California State Chili Championship and The 5th Annual Menudo Championship.

.

The Health Department will be there to enforce their rules.

.

Bring your 3 tub dish washing set ups, one for warm soapy water, one for rinse water and one for bleach water.

Also a hand washing station, which amounts to a 5 gal. water bottle with a handle to turn the water off and on. And a catch bucket.

They were real adamant about it. Please cooperate with them and things will be OK. Find out from them what we need to bring next year.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but they are the bosses'. And can make things miserable.

.

Thank You Very Much

Mike Austin

Scaramento Regional Chili Cookoff

This cookoff keeps getting better! In addition to the Pancake Breakfast, the Kiwanis Club of East Sacramento, just added a Silent Auction with stuff like Disney, Loony Toons and Kinkade art work. Like what else can they come up with? How about RV spaces on site! They set aside 5 RV spaces with hookups 50' from the cookoff site. For only a $20 donation a space is yours Friday and Saturday. Now all we need is dancing girls.
