CHILI ON THE COMSTOCK

.

Great Fun was had by both cooks and public at Virginia City's CHILI ON THE COMSTOCK. There was live entertainment by a classic rock & roll comedy band, a bull whip demonstration and shoot outs by the local cowboys. The weather held out with temps in the high 50s to low 60s, although it was a little breezy at times. Huge, huge crowd in the streets tasting both the locals people's choice and the ICS cooks people's choice. A big thank you to all the cooks who participated in the people's choice. Also, we would like to thank Jim & Wilma Maehl, Donnie Gordon & Dionne Cooley for helping us with this event. It made for a mighty smooth ride!

We had 25 Reds, 13 Greens and 10 Salsas. A big improvement from years past! Thanks to all the cooks that came and supported us! We look forward to a bigger and better event next year. Now for the winners!
