Paul and Sarah Whitney are proud to announce the birth of their son, Ian Paul Whitney, born September 4 at 11:26 pm. Ian weighed in at 7 lbs., 1 oz and was 19 inches at birth. He's looking forward to his first cookoff!

Town of Superior Regional in Superior, Colorado

Saturday, September 13th

With the World's Championship just around the corner, now is the time to register for the Town of Superior Regional Cookoff on September 13th at Community Park (near Boulder). With a great view of the foothills of Boulder County in the background, this year's event is sure to be a blast. Bob & Kathy Plager will serve as Chief Judge and Head Scorekeeper. Two live bands will play over the course of the afternoon--local favorite Hazel Miller and Sugar Daddy. All proceeds benefit the Fallen Firefighters Fund.

Entry fees waived if you bring out 2 gallons of People's Choice Chili or Salsa. Late turn in times.

TO ENSURE A COOKING SPOT ON THE FIELD, PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE ASAP.

Prize money is as follows: Red - $400, $200, $100

Verde - $200, $150, $100
