Missouri STATE PRIZE MONEY JUST INCREASED!!!!!

This just in….The 1^ST Place Prize Money for RED CHILI has just been INCREASED to $1000.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maryland State Chili Championship

Hard Times Café announces the ICS Maryland State Chili Championship being held at the Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick Maryland on September 13^th. Winners in Red, Verde and Salsa qualify for the World. $2,500 in prize money. Go to www.Hardtimes.com and click on "special events" to download an application and get additional information about the event. Registration deadline is September 5^th.

The cook-off is in conjunction with Flying Dog Brewery's 2^nd anniversary party to celebrate their relocation to Frederick Maryland.

MORE INFO Maryland State Chili Championship

The Maryland State cook-off will hold a chili "shoot-out" for cooks already qualified in Red. This will give qualified cooks an opportunity to compete against other ICS qualified cooks and tune up their recipe before the World. The winner of the "shoot-out" wins all the cash from the shoot out registrations. The more cooks who sign up, the bigger the pot. Cook in the shoot out while you are cooking in Verde and Salsa.

Six winners will qualify to represent these two cookoffs in Las Vegas at the 42nd WCCC at the Las Vegas Tropicana Hotel & Casino.

And please bring lots of People's Choice Chili. 1st place is worth $500 each day.
It's the crowds that keep our cookoffs viable. By feeding them, we help ourselves.
