My father, Bill Kost, passed away in Pine AZ Tuesday morning. He is survived by his wife, Jinny and another daughter, Susanna.

My Mother has requested memorials to the Payson Humane Society Building Fund, .812 S. McLane Rd, Payson, AZ 85541.

Culver City Rotary District

The Culver City Rotary Club is sponsoring a district chilicook off in the Veterans Park in Culver City on August 28thy in conjunction with the Festa La Ballona.

.

Prizes are:

400-200-100 for red,

300-150-75 for Green,

50 Salsa and a

plaque for Peoples choice.

.

The entry fees are 30 red 20 green and 10 salsa and at least one gallon of peoples choice.
.

I have been asked to be Chief Judge and Mary Ellen Weber is the Chief Scorekeeper,
I would like to solicit comments as to how many cooks would attend or would it not be the proper time for the event so close to the world.
I want to provide the Rotary Club with the best event possible for as you know I do not tolerate failure from my self or any one I associate with. But the timing of this event may be a problem as some of the feed back I have received seems to indicate.
