Fourth Annual Delaware Valley Regional

Hey Chili Cooks!!

.

There are about eight days left before the Fourth Annual Delaware Valley Regional Chili Cookoff. June 13th is the date and we have made some major changes to the chili cookoff and location. First, we have moved to the Dream Park in Logan Township. Second, cooks will not need to have canopies as all cooks will be in covered pavilions. Third, there will not be any major music acts. We have tried to make the cookoff more cook friendly and laid back. We will have two very popular local bands, The Juliano Brothers and The Don't Call Me Francis Band. As in the past, there is over $10,000 in prize money, first place traditional red and people's choice are $2000 each, chili verde is $1000, and, salsa is $500. Red, green and salsa all qualify for the World's Championship. If you have sent the application, thank you, if not, please visit Delaware Valley Regional Chili Cookoff, to apply online: DVRCC Application, to pay online: DVRCC Payment. Thanks and I look forward to seeing you at the Dream Park on June 13th.

SILVER STATE REGIONAL

LAKE LAS VEGAS

Weather Update: I have been working diligently with some friends of mine who have a top-secret project going on at a secret location called area 86. They are working on a Biographpressurewhethercomptroller which they successfully tested this week. As a result they have brought the surface temperatures at Lake Las Vegas down dramatically. Our local meteorologists are predicting that on Saturday, June 6 the temperatures will be in the lower to mid 80s with light winds, perfect weather for a chili cookoff.
