Dione Cooley Update

As some of you already know Dione Cooley had a Heart attack last Wednesday, they inserted a Stint and she is on the road to recovery.

From Skipper, he writes:

She is now feeling better seems no more heart problems, but the lungs filled up with liquid and also liquid on the outside of them, now under control several more days in the hospital but looking a lot better.

Hello Chili Friends
I just wanted to let you know that my Mother,
Norma Ferrante, just had back surgery on Tues.
She is home now but not feeling very good at the
moment. We are hoping and praying that she recovers
soon and is able to walk, bend, sit and be pain free.
Please keep her in your prayers

AVI Regionals November 24 & 25

It was a beautiful weekend at AIV (between Laughlin & Needles). The Chili Gods were with us as we cooked beside the river. Thank you Dad (Harry Robinson) Andy & Jeep we all had a great time and thought of you.

.

Susie Baumberger (Chairman) & Fred Muirhead (Special Events) put together 2 great events for the Chili, Bikes & Blues weekend that includes lunch for the staff and cooks both days. Then Susie staffs it with world class people... Jim Maehl, Chief Judge & Donnie Gordon, Chief Scorekeeper backed by Sharon Ayers, Ron Burt, Marilou Carrero, Louise Dinneweth, Bobbie Gaul, Val Gereghty Willma Maehl & Phil Morosky. Tootie Gray handled the People's Choice which made over $600 for the Charity.
