CHRIS NICOLL

THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE NEEDED FOR CHRIS NICOLL, MARY NICOLL'S HUSBAND.

.

CHRIS WAS ADMITTED INTO THE HOSPITAL ON DECEMBER 8^TH WITH SEVERE BLEEDING DUE TO LIVER FAILURE. THE FOLLOWING DAY A "TIPS" SURGERY WAS PERFORMED WHICH TOOK 13 HOURS. THE SURGERY STOPPED THE BLEEDING, BUT MANY COMPLICATIONS OCCURRED AFTER THE SURGERY, KEEPING CHRIS IN THE CCU UNIT FOR APPROX. 3 WEEKS. TODAY MARY WAS TOLD THAT CHRIS HAS PNEUMONIA CAUSED FROM THE VENTILATOR THAT HELPS HIM BREATHE. THIS COULD BE VERY CRITICAL FOR CHRIS'S RECOVERY.

CHRIS, BEING A VERY PRIVATE PERSON, WANTED MARY TO BE DISCREET AND PREFERRED THAT ONLY FAMILY AND CLOSE FRIENDS KNOW THE DETAILS OF HIS CONDITION.

MARY FEELS NOW, WITH THE SERIOUSNESS OF HIS CONDITION, THE "CHILI FAMILY" WOULD WANT TO KNOW AND BE THERE FOR CHRIS, MARY, ALL OF THE WATERS FAMILY, AND ALL OF THE NICOLL FAMILY.

PLEASE KEEP CHRIS, MARY, AND FAMILIES IN YOUR HEARTS.

New England Chili Cookoff's

Chili Heads,

While we here in the North East are enjoying (?) our first snow storm of the season and preparing for yet another big storm on Sunday,

We wanted to take this time to remind you that we are just a little over 2 months away from the FIRST EVER Rhode Island State Chili Cookoff.

The RISCCO has alot to offer you! We have a host hotel across the street from a very nice casino,a a local airport, and indoor cooking venue, and we can personally testify to the wonderful seafood eatery's just a few miles away in Newport.

Please join us Feb. 28 in celebration of the FIRST EVER Rhode Island State Chili Cookoff!
