Dear Chili Cook and Friend of National Kidney Foundation,
.
The local Division of the National Kidney Foundation has benefitted for many
years from the generosity and philanthropic spirit of countless chili cooks,
team members, committee members, volunteers and corporate friends through the
annual NKF Chili Cook-Off.
.
This fun community event has helped to fund important local health programming
aimed at fighting kidney disease and improving patient care.
.
Unfortunately, in recent years, proceeds from the Cook-Off have fallen
significantly due to a decrease in corporate support, attendance and the number
of cooking teams. That coupled with the labor-intensive nature of the event has
compelled our board of directors to make the difficult decision to discontinue
the event. We hope you understand.
.
Chris Toney, a long-time chili cook, committee member and NKF friend is working
to continue the event, on a smaller scale. If you are interested in being a
part of the cook-off in some way, please contact her at:

If you are interested in continuing to support the National Kidney Foundation in
other ways, please contact me directly. We sincerely thank you for your past
support.
