Well, gang we are a week off and here is who we have coming. If I'm wrong about your entry please let me know.

Big Pine District Cook Off
Big Pine will be hosting their 3rd Annual Chili Cook Off on April 28th and they are in desperate need of cooks! This cook off coincides with opening day fishing in the Eastern Sierras. There will be fishing derbies, an arts and crafts fair and people choice chili. The event promises to be larger than last year, with lots of fun guaranteed! Surprise! Surprise! No one was blown away at Laughlin over the Easter weekend. It was absolutely beautiful… warm, but beautiful! Susie Baumberger (Chairman) and Fred Muirhead (AVI) put together 2 great events. We were moved to thick grass, served lunch both days, and everything we asked for was waiting for us. Jim Maehl did his usual great job and the Lake Havasu Chili Society was there for whatever was needed. Carol & Dave Hancock put in an appearance and we will forgive them for leaving before judging. You're on for the next one Dave. The winners:

Make plans to compete in the 32nd Annual Missouri Chili Cook-Off & Salsa Competition benefiting National Kidney Foundation of Eastern Missouri & Metro East -- Saturday, September 29, 2007, 11 am to 7pm at Westport Plaza in Maryland Heights, Missouri!

Westport Plaza is an upscale restaurant, business and entertainment complex, offering great hotel accommodations at the adjacent Sheraton Lakeside Chalet and Sheraton Tower hotels, as well as other nearby chains.
