WESTERN REGIONAL-SATURDAY AUG.1ST
==
STUDIO DINER AUG. 2ND
.
Latest development at Western Regional at DelMar. There will be a Micro Brew competition going on in the Pavilian next to us in the infield. This means that there will probably be a bigger need for more Peoples' Choice chili. Since a lot of our usual red chili cooks have qualified, we are increasing the prize money for Peoples' Choice to $250 1st place.
It will be greatly appreciated if any of you choose to cook. Verde cooks, please bring people's choice chili. We will have plenty of extra red chili on hand to add to your pots.
It's very important that I receive your applications for Red, Green or Salsa so that I can get your necessary passes out to you.

This is an update on George (Stinky) Gaskill, a long time chilihead. He is not doing very well, Hospice has been brought in to handle his problems. He has memory lapses and doesn't hear very well. He enjoyed receiving the get well cards everyone sent him a few months ago, maybe everyone could once again send him a card to let him know we are thinking about him.
Address for George (Stinky) Gaskill,
