2006 World Championship Chili Cookoff DVD Video Set
.
For many years now I have been videoing the WCCC. I would make copies of the videos and put them on videocassette for the winners of the world. As I've gotten a little more sophisticated I start putting them on DVDs, I now have a digital video camera (Canon G2 media quality.) This year I have produced a DVD set of two. I would like to make them available to anyone who would like one, they are not exactly professionally done. As I video these while attending to other duties as site coordinator for the WCCC. I spend several days editing the video and as a result there is 96 minutes of video. I am however going to have to charge a fee of $10 for the set of two. This will include shipping handling and all the other stuff you hear about. So if you are interested send a check or money order for $10, no credit cards I'm not that sophisticated.
.
Make check payable to:
Willma Maehl (now you know who handles money at my house)

.
Important: DVDs have several formats, all of the newer DVD players cover these formats. If you have an older player it may not work on it. If that happens we will refund your money.
If you have any questions you can e-mail me at:

Thanks, Capt. Jim Maehl

Ground Hog Chili and Barbecue Cookoffs
Chili Cooks and Judges where are you?
.
We are now nine days away from what promises to be a unique, excellent cookoff. There is still lots of room for chili booths. We have a total of 15 booths---with 17 chili cooks! Only three more cooks are needed to make this a new Southern California Regional cookoff! There will be some new things and some surprises. What well known, very competitive chili cook will be cooking barbecue instead?
.
Chili cooks---please contact Keith and Dawn Caroselli at kcaroselli@dc.rr.com. Chili judges---please contact Bill Ray at Chiliray94@sbcglobal.net. You will all be excellently hosted by the Palm Desert Country Club and will help to return a memorable cookoff to the Coachella Valley!
.
Hope to see your there.

Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce hosts second annual chili cook-off

MULLICA HILL, N.J. - The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce will host the Second Annual Delaware Valley Regional ICS (International Chili Society) Chili Cook-off and Festival on Saturday, April 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the 4H Fairgrounds along Route 77 South.

“The goal of the event is to provide a fun-filled day for the entire family,” said Chamber President Rhone Carr.

The ICS is the largest food contest, festival organization in the world sanctioning chili cook-offs to benefit local charities and not-for-profit organizations. The Second Annual Delaware Valley Regional ICS Chili Cook-Off and Festival will feature a host of family fun and entertainment with its chili cooking contest as well as live music, a classic car showcase, pony rides, balloon bounces, face painting and a variety other of youth activities.

Another highlight of the day’s event will include a wing eating contest officiated by Gloucester County resident Bill “El Wingador” Simmons, five-time champion of WIP Radio’s Wing Bowl. Philadelphia Eagles’ Jon Runyan and Mike Mamula will be on hand to judge the chili cook-off.
