Chili Cooks,

One of our friends, Jim Miller Chili Cook/Organizer has been going through some very tough times.

I spoke to him and his wife Sandy a few minutes ago and he sure would LOVE to hear from you....and it will cheer him up tremendously...especially this time of year. He did say...he's going to try to cook this coming year....and we all look forward to that.

Sorry I haven't written to you sooner. Been a little busy these last few months.

.

I'm not sure if you heard but...Jim has been in the hospital since Oct. 10th. He fell and broke his shoulder and couldn't walk. He contracted gangrene and they amputated his right leg just below the knee. He's currently in Golden Living Rehab Center until he is able to walk with his prosthetic. (Which he hasn't got yet.) He is using a wheel chair and is working on getting his upper body strength built up. Today we are going to Wal-mart with him in their van. He's in dyalisis tues. thurs. sat.
