Wheeling Feeling Cook-Off - Rose Warmuth
Just thought I'd send out a shout for any last minute cooks as the 5th Annual Wheeling Feeling Chili Cook-Off is only about a week away being held on June 3, 2006 in Wheeling, WV at the Downtown Waterfront Ampitheatre. Cooks can register on the ICS web page or call me & I'll get them the info ASAP! My # is 304-234-3636 (day) or 304-232-8008(eve). We have about 37 Red Coks with a total of 48 folks entered in red, verde &/or salsa, so we have tents for some of the last minute chiliheads! This promises to be another great event and we try to make it outstanding for the cooks! The cooks party is friday night at the racetrack and the cook-off site opens at 8:30am on Saturday morning for set up. There is over $2,500.00 in prize money & trophies.
Come Get the Feeling & Cook Chili in Wheeling!!
Thanks,
Cook-off Chair Rose Warmuth

The 2006 New Jersey State Chili Cookoff was another great success. After a week of rainy, cool weather, the sun came out and warmed every one up. Over 2500 spectators came to sample chili served by over 60 cooks. The $1000 first place prize for People’s Choice draws a lot of non-ICS contestants. The winning team made over 75 gallons of People’s Choice chili. There was also a nice prize of $500 for People’s Choice Salsa. The crowds loved that.
